The summer holidays are in full swing, and if you're after a day that keeps the kids active, engaged and having the time of their lives, look no further. Our Children's Adventure Days are running now at Lower Moor and Upton Warren, and NEW for 2026, we've split them into three age groups - 5-7, 8-11 and 11-14 - so every child gets a day of activities perfectly suited to them.
Just drop them off in the morning, and relax knowing they're having a great time experiencing a wide range of exciting activities, all led by our trained, DBS-checked instructors, in small groups, with all equipment provided. Then simply collect a happy, tired, grinning child in the afternoon!
Splitting our Adventure Days by age means younger children get activities suited to their confidence and ability, while our older groups get to take on bigger challenges. Every child leaves with new skills, new friends and a huge smile.

Little Adventurers Day (5-7 years)
The perfect first taste of outdoor adventure for our youngest explorers! Little Adventurers Days run at Lower Moor, with mornings spent on land-based fun and teamwork, and afternoons out on the water.
Think Katakanuing (paddling in a unique catamaran), mega stand up paddleboarding, Canadian canoeing, orienteering, archery and more - the perfect mix to build confidence and independence, with squeals of laughter guaranteed.

Junior Adventure & Aqua Park Day (8-11 years)
A jam-packed day of variety and excitement for our junior adventurers, running at Upton Warren. Mornings are all about land-based challenges, teamwork and climbing skills, while afternoons heat up with kayaking, canoeing and our brilliant Aqua Park.
Activities include low ropes, outdoor climbing, orienteering, crate stack, raft building, archery, Jacob's Ladder, the climbing mast, Katakanu and the Aqua Park - there's something new to try every day!

Senior Adventure & Aqua Park Day (11-14 years)
Bigger challenges, bigger thrills - our Senior Adventure Days at Upton Warren are built for kids who are ready to push themselves. Mornings bring land-based challenges and climbing skills, while afternoons are all about kayaking, canoeing and the Aqua Park.
Activities include outdoor climbing, the 3G Swing, raft building, crate stack, air rifles, Jacob's Ladder, archery, the climbing mast, Katakanu and the Aqua Park - a summer holiday day they won't stop talking about.

What to Bring
Whichever age group your child is joining, pack comfortable clothing for land activities, clothes they don't mind getting wet, old trainers or water shoes, a spare change of clothes, a sun hat or warm hat, sun cream, a towel, a packed lunch and a refillable water bottle. Wetsuits and buoyancy aids are all provided for water activities and the Aqua Park.
