Our Senior Adventure & Aqua Park Days provide an exciting opportunity for children aged 11-14 years to engage in a variety of outdoor activities, including canoeing, aqua park, kayaking, climbing, archery, and more. The specific activities available vary depending on the day.
These are offered during the school holidays from May through to the end of August exclusively at Upton Warren.
NEW FOR 2026: Our Multi-Activity Days are now split by age, with Junior Days for ages 8–11 and Senior Days for ages 11–14, ensuring activities are better suited to each age group!

Tuesday:

• 3G Swing - a large swing, fantastic fun

Wednesday:
• Crate Stack - balance and climb

Thursday:
• Jacob's Ladder - team climbing challenge
• Archery - aim for the target
• Katakanu - paddle in a unique catamaran

Friday:
• Climbing Mast - two sides with varied challenges
• Crate Stack - balance and climb
• Canadian canoeing
• Aqua Park
Morning sessions focus on land-based activities, teamwork, and climbing skills. While afternoon sessions are water-focused, with kayaking, canoeing, and the Aqua Park. Full descriptions on our land activities can be found here and our water activities here.
Please note that we will make every effort to adhere to these planned activities; however, they are subject to change. These sessions are instructor lead and offered in groups of up to 12 children to one instructor.
All activity equipment and tuition are provided by our trained and DBS checked instructors.
This is an activity day where you can drop off in the morning and collect in the afternoon.

What do I need to bring?
Please bring the following items, suitable for the time of year:
- Comfortable clothes for on the water, such as jogging trousers and a sweatshirt
- A spare change of clothes
- Old trainers or wetsuit boots to wear in the water
- Waterproofs or your own wetsuit (we offer wetsuit hire)
- A warm hat or sun hat
- Sun cream
- A towel
Wetsuit Hire:
If you'd like to hire a wetsuit (available for Boat Hire and Launch only, as wetsuits are included for the Aqua Park and Courses), they are available at both Upton Warren and Lower Moor. The cost is £10 per person.
Do parents/guardians need to stay on site during the course?
You are welcome to stay on site if you wish, otherwise you can book in just before the course starts and collect at the end of the course finish time.
What do I need to bring?
A wetsuit and buoyancy aid are provided for all Aqua Park and water activities.
Please bring:
- Packed lunch
- Refillable water bottle
Clothing & Footwear
- Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing for land activities (e.g. jogging bottoms or leggings, t-shirt, jumper/hoodie)
- Clothes for water activities (you will get wet! e.g. jogging trousers, sweatshirt, t-shirt)
- Swimming costume or trunks (to wear under the wetsuit)
- Water shoes, old trainers, or suitable water footwear
- Wetsuit shoes for the Aqua Park (recommended, barefoot is also fine)
- Flip flops or sliders (recommended for the gravel track from changing room to the aqua park)
- Spare change of clothes
Weather & Essentials
- Waterproof jacket (weather dependent)
- Warm hat or sun hat
- Sun cream
- Towel
- Own wetsuit (optional)
