Aztec Adventure offers an extensive list of adventure activities, adventure courses and group adventures in Worcestershire. These are on and around our lakes at Upton Warren and Lower Moor, a purpose built Aztec themed 18-hole outdoor adventure golf course and high-rope aerial adventure course at The Lost Valley, Evesham plus a fantastic indoor climbing wall also located at Evesham.

Aztec Adventure proudly clinched the titles of Small Visitor Attraction of the Year and the prestigious Winner of Winners Award at the Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards 2022/23. Additionally, we earned the distinction of Highly Commended in the Experience of the Year Award for the same year. Continuing our streak of excellence, we were once again recognised as Highly Commended in the Small Visitor Attraction of the Year category at the 2023/24 Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards.

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic activity staff and an administrator/receptionist to join our dedicated and friendly team. 

We offer casual, seasonal contracts and freelance opportunities for our activity team members! Seasonal contracts are structured on an annualised hours basis, providing up to 800 hours between April and October. Additional hours may be available for qualified lifeguards with RLSS certification to work on our Aqua Park. The administrator/receptionist role is a fixed term contract based on 6 hours a day, to be mutually agreed, ideally 8am - 2pm (flexible for the right candidate) from March - September 2025.

Mountain Training Climbing Wall Instructor 

Aztec Adventure are recruiting a dedicated and customer-focused qualified Mountain Training Climbing Wall Instructor to join our team on a casual basis. This role involves working weekday evenings from 16:15 - 20:15, with opportunities for additional days/weekends at Aztec Adventure Evesham.

They will be inclusive and supportive, with an eye for making people feel at ease in a climbing wall environment. Plus be self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Attributes: 

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt training methods to meet the needs of different learners.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Have the Mountain Training Climbing Wall Instructor qualification.

The work would be mostly progressive climbing classes, primarily running NICAS Level 1 & 2 climbing courses for children, but could include some basic adult instruction as well as taster sessions.

Desirable:

  • Experience in coaching or leading children or adults in a sport or activity.
  • Experience in a busy climbing wall.

Multi-Activity Instructors

Join us to lead a diverse range of groups - from primary school activity days to corporate team-building events. Delivering fun, safe and educational outdoor experiences.

Qualified RYA Dinghy Sailing Instructors 

Join us in teaching the joy of sailing to school and youth groups, delivering RYA courses from Stages 1–4, and Levels 1 & 2 for adults. You’ll also contribute to our inspiring Sailability experiences, making sailing accessible to all.

What you need:

  • RYA Dinghy Instructor Qualification.
  • A passion for sharing your enthusiasm for sailing.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • A collaborative team spirit. 

Awards and experience in additional activities would be an advantage but are not essential.

Lifeguards

Help keep our visitors safe as they enjoy exciting Aqua Park activities and open water swimming sessions.

We’re looking for RLSS Open Water Qualified Lifeguards who:

  • Have experience with stand-up paddleboarding or sit-on-top kayaking (ideal but not essential).
  • Excel in customer service.
  • Thrive as part of a supportive team.

The Lost Valley Team members

Help visitors conquer challenges on our thrilling High Ropes Course and Zip Line, or spark some friendly competition on our 18-hole Adventure Golf Course.

What we are looking for:

  • A love for working outdoors.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - empathetic, encouraging, and customer-focused.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role is a bonus, but not essential.

Part-Time Administrator/Receptionist

We are seeking an enthusiastic Administrator/Receptionist to join our team on a fixed-term, part-time basis from March to September 2025.

Role overview:

  • Location: Aztec Adventure Upton Warren, Worcester Road, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B61 7ER (providing support for all our locations). 
  • Fixed term contract based on 6 hours a day, to be mutually agreed, ideally 8am - 2pm (flexible for the right candidate).
  • Salary: National Living Wage (NLW) or National Minimum Wage.

Key responsibilities:

  • Handling phone calls, emails, and customer enquiries.
  • Managing bookings, payments, and event creation via our booking system.
  • Maintaining schedules, spreadsheets, and HR/payroll records.
  • Preparing bespoke offer letters, invoices, and joining instructions.
  • General office tasks including filing, scanning, and maintaining GDPR compliance.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Strong communication skills with excellent written English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • High attention to detail, spelling, numeracy, and organisational skills.
  • Customer service experience, preferably with booking systems and payments.
  • Capable of following directions and collaborating effectively within a team setting.
  • Skilled at remaining composed and efficient in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in handling challenging conversations, such as addressing complaints, while accurately recording relevant details.

Experience: Essential

  • Engaging with the public in customer service roles, including: communicating with the public over the phone and managing and responding to emails.
  • Creating written documents using Microsoft Word.

Experience: Desirable 

  • Proficiency in using electronic booking systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
  • Handling payments and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications: Essential

  • English GCSE Grade 6/B or above, or equivalent O-level grade B or above.

Qualifications: Desirable

  • Completion of administrative training at Level 2 or higher.
