These new Bahia boats will serve a diverse range of customers. Whether you're a student pursuing a two-year Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Outdoor Activities or someone looking to learn sailing through our RYA courses, these boats are designed to enhance your learning experience. Our activities and courses can cater to both children and adults, making these boats a valuable asset for tourists and local residents alike.

A growing demand for outdoor activities

There’s a noticeable trend among parents and adults alike seeking outdoor activities. Parents are eager to get their children off screens and into nature, and our holiday clubs are increasingly popular. These clubs include the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme, which covers Courses 1 - 4. Adults, too, are showing a keen interest in our adventure activity courses, and our new Bahia sailing boats are set to meet this demand head-on.

Boosting local sailing clubs

Our lake at Upton Warren is home to the Upton Warren Sailing Club and the Worcestershire Youth Sailing Association. The introduction of these new Bahia boats will attract new enthusiasts to our lake, providing a great opportunity for them to explore sailing and potentially join these local clubs. Current sailing club members will also benefit, as the new boats offer an excellent platform for skill development.

Support from the Rural England Prosperity Fund

The acquisition of these Bahia sailing boats was part-funded by the UK Government through the Rural England Prosperity Fund, in partnership with Wychavon District Council. This support is instrumental in helping us grow and improve our community-focused activities.
