At Aztec Adventure during the school holidays from March/April through to October we offer our popular multi-activity courses. Each day children enjoy a wide range of exciting outdoor activities at both Aztec Adventure Upton Warren and Aztec Adventure Lower Moor.
Aztec Adventure is proud to be accredited by The Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and is a RYA Sailability Centre. Dinghy sailing is great fun for all ages and there are plenty of opportunities for children to get involved at Aztec Adventure Upton Warren and Aztec Adventure Lower Moor. Learning to sail in a dinghy is a great way to get started on the water. Our Youth Sailing scheme courses will see children quickly progress from beginners to confident sailors in a safe and enjoyable environment. These could lead to becoming a member of Upton Warren Sailing Club or the Worcestershire Youth Sailing Association.
2. 20% off Adults' RYA Sailing, Powerboat and Wingsurf Courses
As mentioned above we are proud to be accredited by The Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and are a RYA Sailability Centre. Dinghy sailing is great fun for all ages and there are plenty of opportunities for everyone to get involved. Learning to sail in a dinghy is a great way to get started on the water. Our Adult Sailing scheme courses will see everyone quickly progress from beginners to confident sailors in a safe and enjoyable environment. These could lead to becoming a member of Upton Warren Sailing Club which is located at Aztec Adventure Upton Warren.
The course provides the skills and background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. It aims to teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats. It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed, and collision regulations. Please note that the course can be taken at an inland or coastal location. It may be conducted in a variety of boat types, both planing and displacement. The certificate issued will be endorsed to show the type of boat in which the training took place which will be inland.
Wing surfing is a new water sport that incorporates elements of surfing, windsurfing and kiteboarding.
We are thrilled to be offering two RYA wingsurf courses: Learn to Wingsurf and Improve your Wingsurfing. The first course in the RYA Wing scheme, provides a basic introduction to winging. It sets the foundations of learning to fly the wing ashore and afloat. Once you have completed this you can increase your confidence afloat, improving tacking, gybing and the core skills needed to make progress.
