Two Unique Habitats 

The reserve is split into two fascinating areas:

• The Moors Pools – Freshwater pools supporting an incredible variety of plants and wildlife. Perfect for spotting ducks, herons, and other resident birds.
• The Flashes Pools – Saline pools home to species that thrive in saltier conditions, creating a completely different ecosystem to explore.

Together, these areas make the reserve the best birdwatching spot in Worcestershire. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or a casual nature lover, you’ll be amazed by the diversity of species that call this reserve home.

Refreshments at The Boat Shack 

Exploring the lakes works up an appetite, but don’t worry - the Boat Shack Café at Aztec Adventure Upton Warren is open all year round. Ideally located between the two lakes, it’s the perfect spot to relax with a hot drink, a snack, or even lunch while taking in the beautiful surroundings.
