It's Drowning Prevention Week 2026 (13–20 June) and here at Aztec Adventure, water safety isn't just something we think about one week a year - it's at the heart of everything we do.

Whether you're launching yourself across our Main Aqua Park, having a splash on the Junior Aqua Park, or enjoying a relaxed afternoon out on the water with our boat hire and launch at Upton Warren or Lower Moor, we want every single visit to be as safe as it is fun.

Safety You Can Trust

We're really proud to hold our Gold Industry Approved Aqua Park accreditation from Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) - one of the highest standards in the industry. It means all equipment across both our Main and Junior Aqua Parks at Upton Warren meets EN and BSI standards, our spring-fed lakes are regularly tested for water quality, and RLSS Open Water Lifeguards are always present on the water.

For boat hire and launch at both Upton Warren and Lower Moor, all activities are supervised by our qualified team, with rescue cover in place for your complete peace of mind.

The Water Safety Code - Know It, Share It

This week, we're joining RLSS UK in sharing the Water Safety Code - four simple rules that could genuinely save a life. Wherever you are near water, please remember:

✅ Stop and Think - before you get in or near the water, take a moment to assess your surroundings.

✅ Stay Together - never swim or play near water alone, especially children.

🚨 Call 999 - in an emergency, call for help immediately.

🚨 Float - if you get into difficulty in the water, fight the instinct to thrash around. Lean back, spread your arms and legs, and float until help arrives.
