It was a night to remember for Aztec Adventure as we proudly celebrated winning Small Visitor Attraction of the Year and the prestigious Winner of Winners Award at the Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards 2022/23, held on Friday 24 March 2023. To make the evening even more special, we were also awarded Highly Commended in the Experience of the Year category.

Celebrating the Best of Worcestershire Tourism

The Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards recognise excellence across the county’s tourism sector, celebrating outstanding attractions, hotels, self-catering accommodation, restaurants, and pubs. This year, 37 tourism businesses were shortlisted as finalists, all showcasing the very best experiences Worcestershire has to offer.

Judging took place over a rigorous six-month period, led by industry experts and specialist judges who assessed each finalist on quality, innovation, customer experience, and business growth.

Winner of Winners Award Recognition

Aztec Adventure was honoured with the coveted Winner of Winners Award, recognising our unique visitor experience, continued business growth, and the successful expansion of our adventure sites. This growth has enabled us to welcome even more visitors while creating new local employment opportunities.

The award is presented to the highest-scoring finalist across all categories, making it a true highlight of the evening and a testament to the incredible feedback received from the judges.

Looking Ahead to an Exciting Season

With Easter marking the opening of our Upton Warren and Lower Moor sites for the 2023 season, the timing of these awards could not be better. The excitement is heightened even further with the opening of The Lost Valley, our latest adventure experience.
